STELLAR COMMUNITY FUND

Current round

Is there a change you can imagine that would make the world a better place? A need out there that's not addressed by current technology? Some content, resource, or event that would help people better understand how and why to build on Stellar? Apply to the SCF with your Stellar-based project and request the budget you need to take it to the next level.

Selected projects will have a chance to get feedback, engage the vibrant community of Stellar developers and enthusiasts, and win lumen grants! Applications open June 28, 2021, and we're giving away 4 million lumens. We can't wait to see what you build!

How to submit your project

To enter the SCF, first use the embedded form below to provide basic information about you and your team members. Once you submit it, you’ll receive a complete submission worksheet via email that will walk you through the application process. By default, it's a Google spreadsheet, that's automatically submitted after 11:59 PM PST on August 22nd.  If that doesn't work for you, let us know and we can provide you with a file in another format which you'll need to send before the deadline to communityfund@stellar.org.

In the embedded form below, you can choose between an extensive or simplified submission worksheet. We generally recommend the extensive sheet for all projects interested in receiving additional guidance, and/or projects with budget requests over $5,000. If your project has a lower ask or you just want to experiment, feel free to choose the simplified version.

The application is your chance to provide valuable information about your project to judges and community members, so take your time, and make sure you do a good job pitching your project!

What is the name of your project?

This does not need to be the final name. You can change it anytime before submitting the application sheet.

What is your full and legal name?

To be eligible to submit and receive awards, we'll need your full legal name(s). If you're applying solo, we need your first name, middle name(s) if you have them, and last name. If there are two or more of you applying jointly, we need both your full names, separated by a comma. If you are applying as an entity, please add your own full legal name, any other applicants' names, and the full legal name of the entity, each separated by a comma.

What is your Discord username?

To keep up with anything happening around the SCF, we highly recommend joining the SCF Discord server. If you have one, please add your Discord username and code in the field below. If you want to add your team members' usernames, please separate them with a comma in the order you've named them in the previous question.

What is your Google e-mail address?

Please add an email address associated with a Google account so that we can share a Google sheet with you. If you don't have one yet, click here to create a Google account. If you have team members, add their emails separated by a comma in the order you've named them in the previous questions.

If you can't use Google for any reason, please add your preferred email so that we can send you the worksheet in another format.

What kind of submission form would you like to receive?

There are two submission forms: a simplified version and an extensive version. We recommend using the extensive version for all budgets exceeding $5,000. It gathers more information, which gives you more opportunity to pitch your project to voters and the community at large.
