PizzaDAO Apps is a modular, on‑chain suite designed to revolutionize how communities organize, fund and experience events through transparent tokenization and gamified rewards.
Our first component provides real‑time, auditable tracking of all food and beverage flows at gatherings, tokenizing each item and publishing live reports to ensure fairness and accountability. Launching in time for the sixth Global Pizza Party on May 22, 2026, combines:
Consumables tokenization: Each pizza slice and beverage is minted as a Stellar asset via Soroban contracts. Tokens flow freely between wallets and QR‑scanned redemption points.
NFT tickets & badges: Unique, collectible NFT tickets grant entry, embed event metadata, and unlock Special Edition badges, usable across our future fan‑network and independent pizzeria marketplace.
Real‑Time audit Dashboard: A public dashboard streams every on‑chain mint, transfer, and redemption, ensuring sponsors and organizers see exactly how resources move.
Gamification layer: Earn Benny Points for actions like faucet claims, redemptions, and social shares. Unlock mini‑quests on blockchain pizza history and Stellar lore for bonus points and limited NFTs.
Social Faucet onboarding: New attendees post a simple “I’m here!” on X to instantly receive 1 XLM from our Soroswap‑funded pool. No crypto purchase required.
This app is the cornerstone of the most delicious digital economy, a community‑driven suite that will grow to include on‑chain event planning, fan social networking, and a decentralized UberEats for local pizzerias.
Most events still rely on manual lists, spreadsheets, and cash‑based giveaways, leaving room for inequity, errors and opaque reporting. Organizers and sponsors lack real‑time visibility into who’s getting what, undermining trust and complicating settlement.
PizzaDAO App solves these pain points by:
**On‑chain tokenization of consumables
**
Each pizza slice and beverage is minted as a fungible on‑chain token via Stellar & Soroban.
Tokens represent real‑time “claims” on items, ensuring fair distribution without manual tracking.
**NFT event tickets & access control
**
Event entry is managed through unique, tradable NFT tickets. A secret word is needed for each event.
NFTs embed metadata on date and location.
**Live reporting Dashboard
**
A public, tamper‑proof ledger streams token transfers and consumption metrics.
Organizers and sponsors access real‑time charts and CSV exports for post‑event analytics.
Social faucet feature - PaltaLabs hackathon submission **https://dorahacks.io/buidl/30660/
**)
Integrated into the PizzaDAO traceability app that automatically supplies XLM from a liquidity pool on Soroswap.
DeFindex Vault.
We aim to complete development, testing, and pilot activations of this app by May 22, 2026, aligning with the sixth Global Pizza Party. This milestone ensures our platform is battle‑tested at scale, delivers reliable on‑chain reporting, and sets the stage for PizzaDAO’s expanding suite of event‑tokenization tools.
This is an open invitation for Stellar, to incorporate the most delicious on-ramp the world has ever seen to Web3. We have created a Linktree to organize our most important links: https://linktr.ee/pizzadaoapps
Throughout its history, PizzaDAO has collaborated with dozens of top-tier Web3 projects, artists, DAOs, and blockchain ecosystems. With the launch of our new app suite, we aim to offer these partners a consistent and long-term visibility model.
PizzaDAO Apps will integrate a curated in-app advertising and sponsorship system tailored to diverse stakeholders in the Web3 and cultural ecosystem. These include:
Local pizzerias: providing real pizza at community events.
Artists and performers: featured in PizzaDAO activations.
Web3 protocols and DAOs: seeking meaningful cultural engagement.
Cultural collectives: aligned with decentralized values.
Brands: that support the fair distribution of food and global community-building.
You can see a sample of some of our previous partners here: https://i.imgur.com/L6jPIwN.png
Sponsors will be able to select from a tiered system of benefits, ensuring tailored visibility depending on their needs and the depth of their engagement. This system transforms PizzaDAO events and apps into live cultural stages, offering recurring brand presence, interactions, and promotional opportunities across the entire PizzaDAO ecosystem.
Important: our model does not presume speculative token value for “slice” or “drink” tokens. These tokens are only redeemable on-site, reinforcing their use for community access and not market speculation. Are non-transferable and it should be burned within 24 hours of the event.
Instant NFT drops: A Web3 protocol can leverage our leaderboard mechanic to distribute NFTs to the top 50 attendees within 10 seconds of an event milestone being reached. No manual intervention required.
Hyper-local engagement: A local pizzeria can airdrop "bonus slice" tokens to attendees who share a photo of their pizza on social media, driving traffic and brand recognition beyond the event space.
On-Chain loyalty programs: Sponsors can issue their own branded tokens redeemable for services or products directly inside the PizzaDAO App, ensuring retention and recurring user touchpoints.
Cross-Ecosystem activation: A DeFi protocol could sponsor a “Yield Quest” mini-game inside the app, rewarding participants who complete an educational challenge with staking credits, directly increasing TVL in their platform.
Real-Time conversions: Partners can push time-limited offers or calls-to-action to event participants, with redemption validated instantly via QR scan in the app.
Traceable: All actions logged on-chain.
Targeted: Filtered by geography, event type, or user behavior.
Measurable: instant reporting via live dashboard.
This creates measurable ROI for both global protocols and local vendors, while keeping the community experience fun, interactive and authentic.

To transform token redemption into a fun, engaging experience (and reduce friction in using the PizzaDAO Apps) we’re introducing a layered gamification system built around Benny Points and Special Edition NFTs.
**Benny Points accrual
**
Users earn Benny Points for every action: claiming XLM via the The Green Slice Faucet (PaltaLabs hackathon project), swapping for pizza or drink, by investing in PizzaDAO Vaults, and sharing event posts on social media.
Points are tracked on‑chain and displayed in a live leaderboard, fostering friendly competition among attendees and organizers.
**Special edition NFT Badges
**
Unique, collectible NFTs are awarded when users hit key milestones (e.g., 10 slices redeemed, first event check‑in, achieved yields).
These badges carry utility across the broader PizzaDAO ecosystem, granting priority access in the on‑chain pizza‑fan social network and unlocking discounts in our future independent pizzeria marketplace.
**Cross‑App utility (Soon)
**
Benny Points and NFTs are not confined to a single event; they carry over into:
Pizza fan social app: Redeem points for exclusive “slice stories,” virtual meet‑ups, or themed NFT drops.
Independent pizzeria marketplace: Apply points toward order discounts or unlock bonus toppings and free deliveries.
**Mini‑Quest: History of Pizza on Blockchain
**
An interactive in‑app quest educates users on landmark moments: the first pizza purchase with Bitcoin, PizzaDAO’s founding story, and Stellar’s role in democratizing microtransactions.
Completing each chapter of the quest rewards users with bonus Benny Points and limited‑edition NFTs.
**Sponsor challenges & raffles
**
**Local pizzerias: Users redeem extra tokens for raffle tickets, creating excitement at redemption stands.
**
**Web3 projects: Offer mini‑workshops or lightning talks; attendees scan a booth QR code to earn bonus points and exclusive protocol NFTs.
**
Artists & performers: Curate interactive installations or pop‑up performances; participants who engage (photo, scan, solve a clue) receive special NFT badges and points.
Scalable Micro‑Transactions: Each pizza slice and beverage redemption generates an on‑chain transfer. With 400+ events per year and an average of 100 slices per event, we anticipate 40,000+ transactions annually, all settled in 3–5 seconds at under 0.00001 XLM per operation.
Barrier‑Free onboarding: Our Social Faucet (powered by Soroswap liquidity) automatically funds each new user with 1 XLM, removing the need to purchase crypto and creating zero‑friction wallet activation for potentially thousands of participants at every event.
RWA Tokenization at scale: Pizza is a universally loved RWA with millions of fans. By tokenizing slices as Stellar assets, we introduce a tangible, culturally resonant use case to Stellar’s ecosystem, broadening its appeal beyond finance into food, culture, and social events.
Ecosystem growth & retention: Gamification (Benny Points, NFT badges), the DeFi strategy for users with PizzaDAO Vaults, and cross‑app utility in our pizza‑fan social network and pizzeria marketplace, drive repeated on‑chain engagement, deepening user retention within Stellar.
High transaction throughput for real-time validation: Stellar’s consensus protocol enables sub-5-second finality, allowing event check-ins, faucet claims, and token redemptions to be processed instantly without noticeable latency for attendees.
Ultra-low fees for event micropayments: Average transaction costs on Stellar remain under $0.00001 USD, making it economically viable to process thousands of micro-transactions (such as individual pizza slices or beverage tokens) without eroding event budgets.
Network utilization: A consistent stream of micro‑transactions, driving fee revenue and demonstrating Stellar’s capacity for high‑frequency, low‑value use cases.
New user acquisition: Zero‑cost wallet activation and a culturally engaging RWA use case attract non‑crypto natives, expanding Stellar’s user base across demographics and geographies.
Ecosystem synergy: Deep integration with Soroswap and DeFindex showcases Stellar’s composability, positioning it as the go‑to chain for event‑based token economies.
Cultural footprint: By gamifying pizza distribution and embedding social quests about Bitcoin‑pizza history and Stellar fundamentals, we turn every slice into a storytelling moment, reinforcing Stellar’s brand in real‑world communities.
Meridian2025: During the event in Rio de Janeiro, we will focus on promoting the application and gathering feedback from the Stellar community.
The Latin American pizza market is vibrant and culturally rich, with distinctive consumption habits and supply structures across different countries. This section outlines the main trends regarding consumption, number of establishments, and the balance between independent pizzerias and major chains.
Brazil leads the region in pizza consumption, with an average of 5.8 kg per person per year, placing it 11th globally. Argentina also plays a major role, with studies estimating an average consumption of 4.2 kg per person annually, positioning it among the top 25 pizza-consuming countries worldwide. While some reports rank Argentina behind Brazil and Mexico, delivery platform data often shows it as the regional leader. Colombia is another high-consumption market, with frequent pizza intake across its population.
Mexico stands out as the country with the largest number of pizzerias in Latin America, with nearly twice as many establishments as Brazil. The region is home to an estimated 90,000 pizzerias, with Brazil, Argentina, and Chile also contributing significantly, particularly in terms of high-quality offerings featured in regional rankings.
The market split between local/independent pizzerias and large chains varies across the region. Globally, major pizza chains account for roughly one-third of the industry. In Latin America, however, their dominance is particularly strong in certain countries.
In Chile, Brazil, and Mexico, quick-service restaurant chains (including pizza chains) outperform independents significantly. For instance, chains sell 142% more than independents in Chile, 261% more in Brazil, and 319% more in Mexico.
Despite this, a strong culture of independent pizzerias persists, especially in Argentina, where neighborhood pizzerias are deeply rooted in local tradition. In cities like Buenos Aires, local establishments often enjoy more popularity than global chains.
There’s also a growing trend of independent pizzerias offering localized flavors and artisanal options, differentiating themselves from standardized chain menus. This highlights the ongoing value and resilience of the local pizza scene, even in markets with high chain penetration.
The Latin American pizza market is a dynamic ecosystem marked by high consumption, a vast number of establishments, and a tension between the dominance of chains and the enduring appeal of local pizzerias. Brazil leads in consumption, Mexico in pizzeria count, and while chains dominate in sales volume, independent pizza culture remains a key force, particularly in culturally rich markets like Argentina.

The Green Slice faucet shows how DEX liquidity (via Soroswap) can directly power onboarding experiences for real-world users. No fiat. Just pizza, public posts, and programmable tokens on Stellar.
This digital‑commons model not only guarantees fair access to pizza but also fosters a rich social and cultural fabric around shared meals, Web3 engagement, and blockchain‑based events. As tokens flow through the community, PizzaDAO builds resilient social ties and an enduring ecosystem for cultural collaboration and trust.
To preserve the spirit of community sharing and prevent speculative use, slice and drink tokens are strictly limited in scope and time. These tokens are minted through Soroswap immediately after a user receives their XLM faucet reward and performs the swap, with zero fees and no manual action required. However, these tokens cannot be sold or held for later use. They are valid only for the specific event in which they were issued, and any unclaimed tokens should be automatically burned after 24 hours.
Additionally, these tokens can only be sent to wallets designated as event organizers or registered pizzerias, ensuring they are exclusively used to redeem physical food and drinks on-site. This model reinforces local trust, avoids market speculation, and supports real-world distribution integrity.

We will deploy the app at multiple PizzaDAO events across Latin America, inviting community members to mint and redeem tokens for pizza slices and beverages. Success is measured by at least 3 pilot activations with ~50 participants each, generating on‑chain records for every item consumed and gathering qualitative feedback on usability and transparency.
We will orchestrate a synchronized event across multiple Latin American cities designed to push our platform to its limits. Participants will create and activate 200+ wallets in one day. This stress test will validate that our faucet, minting, redemption, and dashboard systems can reliably support the scale needed for the Global Pizza Party on May 22, 2026.
During pilots, we will validate that the live dashboard accurately reflects real‑time token transfers and consumption metrics. Key metrics include 100% token reconciliation (all physical items matched on‑chain) and positive ratings (≥ 4/5) from 80% of participants on ease of use and clarity of reporting.
One of our goals is to support DeFi adoption within the Stellar ecosystem, by encouraging users to explore yield-generating strategies, through the PizzaDAO Vaults on DeFindex.
On May 22, 2026, PizzaDAO App will be used simultaneously at all Global Pizza Party locations worldwide, marking a historic first unified on‑chain tracking of consumables across multiple continents.
PizzaDAO benefits from a global community of thousands of active members and organizers, making it one of the most recognized DAOs in the Web3 ecosystem.
With over 400 annual events and activations (including official parties, educational meetups, and side events at major blockchain conferences) PizzaDAO has an existing network ready to onboard into our new application infrastructure.
Our go-to-market strategy is structured in three phases:
We will begin by deploying the application in Latin America, leveraging strong community presence and experienced local organizers in countries like Chile, Argentina, Guatemala, Venezuela, Uruguay, Colombia and Mexico.
These organizers will use the app in real-world scenarios to distribute tokenized pizza slices and beverages. Each activation will serve as a live testing environment to collect feedback, refine the user experience, and validate core features such as on-chain reporting and QR-based token redemption.
Also, users can now generate returns with PizzaDAO Vaults.
After successful regional rollouts and iteration, we will scale the app to PizzaDAO organizers worldwide, integrating the platform into the global network of events. We will promote adoption through DAO-wide communications, working groups, onboarding tutorials, and social media campaigns coordinated with the broader Stellar and Web3 communities.
Our milestone event is the Global Pizza Party 2026, where the app will be used simultaneously at dozens of events around the world. This historic, coordinated deployment will provide invaluable data, visibility, and traction. Following the event, we will use the insights gathered to enhance features and continue developing the full PizzaDAO Apps suite.
By building with and for an already active global community, PizzaDAO ensures rapid adoption, meaningful feedback loops, and long-term engagement with the tools we’re creating.
PizzaDAO has built a thriving global ecosystem through the consistent organization of community-driven events around the world. Between 2021 and 2024, the number of events has grown from 80 to over 440 annually, with total attendance surpassing 15,000 people in 2024 alone and more than 5,250 pizzas distributed during that period.
The DAO operates in over 100 countries, with an engaged community of 5,000+ members on Discord and a combined 18,000+ followers across X and Instagram. These metrics reflect our cultural relevance and capacity for large-scale community activation.
