WarpDrive - a trusted compute layer that turns arbitrary off chain data and processes into provably correct on chain actions, meeting the security, auditability, and performance expectations of Stellar’s enterprise audience. The architecture will leverage Soroban smart contracts, modern WASI execution, and flexible operator governance to create a scalable, composable platform ready for real world financial and compliance use cases. Developers will be able to run bots, oracles, automation, and more on Stellar with Eigenlayer grade security.
One of the milestones representing a functioning project will be a price oracle, with off chain verified prices published to Soroban contracts on Stellar to provide reliable market data for DeFi protocols and reduce integration complexity.
A Phoenix DeFi Hub <-> Blend partnership will introduce a new auto rebalancing liquidity pool, where WarpDrive will enforce allocation rules via Soroban contracts and deploy 50 percent of liquidity to Blend to improve capital efficiency and yield.
The project will be delivered with extensive documentation, including a cookbook and examples showing how to define and deploy custom services that interact with Soroban contracts, lowering the barrier for developers to build and deploy complex automated services on Stellar.
Currently our team has three members (one backend engineer, one frontend engineer, and myself, Ethan), but to meet the project deadlines given the complexity and scope of the infrastructure, we will need to hire additional engineering support.

We have actively engaged with several projects within the Stellar ecosystem and have signed an MOU with Phoenix DeFi Hub. Through this collaboration, we will deliver an auto-rebalancing liquidity pool that allocates 50% of its liquidity to Blend to increase yield.

Implementation of WarpDrive’s foundational on-chain contracts and off-chain verification tooling, including contract repositories, decentralized specification publishing, automated attestation pipelines, and cryptographic signature verification required for secure PoA and multisig-based validation of off-chain data.
WarpDrive Contracts Repository ($11,000) - a clean, well-structured repo containing the Project Root, Security (PoA), and Verification contracts plus deployment scripts. This becomes the baseline for all on-chain work and makes it straightforward to deploy and verify off-chain data on Stellar via Soroban.
Project Specification Repository on IPFS ($5,000) - scripts and tooling to publish project metadata and contract definitions to IPFS, ensuring decentralized storage and easy verification of specifications.
Automated Attestation Tests ($8,000) - off-chain tooling to generate, aggregate, and submit multiple attestations to the verification contract, strengthening authorization and validation of off-chain inputs before they’re committed to Stellar.
Signature Support and Verification ($6,000) - on-chain verification for ed25519 (Stellar-compatible) and secp256k1 signatures to enforce multisig and PoA rules, and to interoperate cleanly with Stellar and Ethereum/Cosmos ecosystems.
This milestone implements WarpDrive’s event driven execution layer by extending the off-chain runtime to react to Soroban events, securely process external data, and automate on-chain behavior. It delivers a reference DeFi automation contract, validated event-based circuits and a full E2E MVP demonstrating how off-chain events can safely trigger verified contract updates on Stellar.
Off-Chain Runtime Extensions ($21,000) - extend the Vectr runtime to subscribe to Soroban events and submit validated transactions to the verification contracts, enabling automated, event-driven workflows.
Event Processing Circuits ($14,000) - circuits that securely process off-chain events, aggregate outcomes, and update contracts with proper on-chain validation, showcasing how WarpDrive can safely automate DeFi workflows on Stellar.
DeFi Automation Contract (Hodlers) ($10,000) - a reference contract that tracks “points” for Stellar addresses based on activity in the XLM-USDC pool, demonstrating secure on-chain handling of off-chain event inputs.
Mainnet-ready automation stack - including a fully fledged price oracle, a monitoring dashboard, complete developer onboarding material and a new protocol live on Stellar that combines the capabilities of 3 independent projects (Blend, Phoenix DeFi Hub and WarpDrive) to demonstrate the power of automated, complex workflows.
Multi-Round Price Oracle ($18,000): secure, time-weighted median pricing (i.e. BTC-USD, ETH-USD) produced via off-chain attestations and submitted to a Soroban oracle contract on Stellar. Provides dependable market data for DeFi protocols.
Auto-Rebalancing Liquidity Pool Integration ($20,000): deployed automation that connects Phoenix DeFi Hub and Blend, including circuits for liquidity rebalancing and USDC reward collection. Demonstrates real, measurable value on Stellar.
Web UI Dashboard ($12,000): a dashboard to visualize WarpDrive circuits, track investments, and monitor liquidity management.
Project Starter Pack ($10,000): complete docs, deployment/run instructions, and onboarding materials so developers can quickly launch and operate WarpDrive-powered services on Stellar.
Our tech team is led by Ethan Frey, the creator of the CosmWasm smart-contract platform, which directly inspired the design of Soroban. He brings over five years of experience working with Wasm and WASI runtimes and has been building cross-chain systems since the earliest IBC prototypes in 2017.
Every member of our engineering team has years of hands-on experience in the blockchain industry and has played key roles in designing, launching, and maintaining major protocols across the Cosmos ecosystem and Stellar.
