Astrolabe is a human-first block explorer for Stellar. We render operations as plain-language sentences, Soroban invocations with decoded arguments, return values and events, with raw XDR one toggle away. A working MVP is already live, addressing the gaps users hit most: Soroban decoding, a live network view, and mobile.
As Soroban adoption accelerates, the ecosystem needs more than raw data dumps. This grant funds the part no frontend work can deliver: our own data layer. RPC cannot answer aggregate questions (top holders, historical volume, fund flows, event history past ~7 days), and SDF runs no public mainnet Soroban RPC. A self-hosted RPC node plus a custom indexer over full ledger history unlocks holder bubble maps with clusterdetection, fund-flow tracing, full event search, an alerts engine, contract source verification, and a metered public API that makes Astrolabeself-sustaining after the award.
