Blink is a mobile app that allows businesses to receive crypto as a means of payment via Bluetooth and receive instant settlement in their local currency. Blink also allows users to spend their crypto like cash.
The entire concept of Blink is built around simplicity. We abstract all crypto complexity and give users the feel of using their traditional bank.
In markets like Nigeria, millions of people hold digital assets but struggle to use them for daily commerce. Off-ramping to local currency is expensive and riddled with fraud risks, while merchants remain hesitant to accept crypto due to unpredictable price swings. Blink solves both sides of this problem in one platform.
Our objectives are:
- To enable businesses to receive crypto payments effortlessly via Bluetooth, with zero technical knowledge required.
- To abstract every layer of crypto complexity: wallets, keys, chains, so the experience feels as familiar as a traditional banking app.
- To enable underbanked and crypto-native users to spend their digital assets directly at local shops using bluetooth.
