Description

lomi. (https://lomi.africa) is a live payment processor for francophone West Africa (UEMOA / XOF). Merchants use hosted checkout, payment links, subscriptions, payouts, and a public API/SDK/MCP to accept Wave, MTN Mobile Money, cards, and PI-SPI, with balances in XOF, USD, and EUR. Commercially live since April 2025. Every cross-border FX leg still clears through correspondent banking: XOF to USD/EUR costs several percent and takes days. That spread is our largest structural cost and blocks USD balances and same-day cross-border payout. We add a Stellar USDC rail under the same product: Circle USDC settlement between lomi. treasury accounts, Bridge for USD ↔ USDC, and an XOF Anchor Platform so Wave/MTN/SPI stay the last mile. Merchants never hold keys. End users never custody crypto. We do not issue a stablecoin. Built into NestJS POST /payouts, Postgres, and a feature-flagged Côte d'Ivoire merchant pilot.
