Description

ChimpDAO is building a hardware-secured physical wallet layer for Stellar. The project started with NFC-authenticated merchandise, linking real-world items to on-chain ownership through secure chips that generate and store private keys directly on the hardware.

We now want to extend this infrastructure into a ChimpDAO card wallet: a physical NFC card paired with a mobile app, allowing users to hold Stellar assets, authorize actions through the card, and interact with Stellar applications through a simple interface. This turns the card into a tangible access point to Stellar, combining the familiarity of a physical object with the composability of blockchain infrastructure.

The vision is to make Stellar more tangible and accessible. Instead of asking users to manage private keys, wallets, DeFi protocols, and smart contract flows separately, ChimpDAO packages these interactions into a familiar physical object: a secure card that connects real-world usage with Stellar assets, DeFi, and payments.
