Description

The Smart Treasury Account (STA) is a programmable treasury wallet for Stellar. It enables businesses, payment providers, DAOs, and onchain organizations to manage treasury operations through predefined onchain policies.

Instead of manually approving every transaction, users configure rules that define authorized signers, supported assets, approved recipients, spending limits, timing constraints, and execution conditions. Treasury operations such as recurring payments, payroll, vendor payments, and revenue distribution can then be executed under these predefined rules while remaining fully controlled by the account's policy framework.

Built on Soroban contract accounts and leveraging Stellar Asset Contracts (SACs) for asset management, STA provides a secure treasury framework for stablecoin and business payment workflows. It enables organizations to automate financial operations through explicit onchain policies without building custom treasury infrastructure from scratch.
