We're building a Stellar DEX connector for Hummingbot, the most widely used open source algorithmic trading framework. Kelp's deprecation left Stellar without a maintained market making tool, resulting in thin books, wide spreads, prices that drift from centralized venues during any vol event. Instead of building another standalone tool that depends on one maintainer and eventually dies, we're plugging Stellar into a platform with 15,000+ active instances, 50+ exchange connectors, and built in strategies that real desks use: market making, cross exchange arb, grid, TWAP, VWAP. The core connector handles full order management, real time state tracking, local orderbook maintenance, parallel transaction submission via channel accounts, and support for any trading pair, all built against Stellar RPC. The finished connector gets merged into the official Hummingbot repo, not shipped as a fork. Optional scope includes Soroban AMM support for Aquarius, Soroswap, and intra AMM arbitrage, and this ultimately results in more market makers, tighter spreads, prices that reflect reality.
