We ♡ Stellar Classic DEX and very excited to introduce AXIS, the next-generation smart contract limit orderbook DEX for the Stellar ecosystem, designed with backward compatibility for the Classic DEX. The smart contract itself and indexer/API service are open-source, so anyone will be able to trade with the orderbook. On top of that we are planning to offer additional APIs, JS SDK and tooling to provide a programming interface fully compatible with Horizon, hugely simplifying the transition for any existing wallet or trading interface that supports Stellar DEX. Beyond standard limit orders, the AXIS orderbook will feature extension capabilities to provide a base layer for advanced, CEX-like trading experiences with order types such as stop-loss, trailing stop-loss, fill-or-kill, iceberg orders, etc.

Traction Evidence

Since the smart contracts inception on Stellar, there was a demand for a Soroban limit orderbook DEX. We aim to build a robust DEX that will cover the existing demand and will become a replacement for a Classic DEX. At this point, we already have agreements with 3 other platforms and apps regarding AXIS integration. Over the past 8 years StellarExpert team has launched several key infrastructure services (StellarExpert, Reflector, StellarBroker, Albedo, Refractor, LedgersTax) and we firmly believe in the future success of AXIS DEX.
