Users that want exposure to XLM but also want to use their funds, this is just like someone putting their house as collateral to get a loan that will pay later without needing to sell the house.
It helps speculators that want to trade XLMs in different currencies
Once there is enough liquidity, payment-focused apps could offer their users all currencies so their users can use their local currencies as if they were a digital bank
