PathPulse is a road intelligence platform that turns everyday drivers into a distributed network of mobile sensors using their smartphones. The Scout app captures road footage while drivers operate their vehicles, and AI systems analyze this data to detect traffic violations, dangerous conditions, and infrastructure issues in real time using PathPulse proprietary AI models.
Drivers are incentivized to participate because they can earn additional income when their data leads to validated reports. Cities and road safety agencies use these insights for enforcement and infrastructure planning, creating a revenue loop where contributors are rewarded for generating actionable road intelligence.
To support this model at scale, PathPulse is deploying programmable settlement infrastructure on Stellar to distribute revenues transparently between authorities, the protocol, and contributors.
- Stellar Disbursement Platform (SDP)
PathPulse uses the Stellar Disbursement Platform to execute high-volume payouts to drivers and ecosystem contributors.
SDP orchestrates batch reward distributions and settlement events while providing traceability and operational resilience. The system implements deterministic 50/30/20 revenue splits (Authorities / PathPulse / Drivers) using native Stellar transaction operations, enabling transparent and auditable revenue distribution.
- Stellar Wallets Kit
Driver and operator wallet interoperability is enabled through Stellar Wallets Kit.
While the PulseScout application abstracts wallet complexity for contributors via Privy embedded wallets, Wallets Kit ensures compatibility with the broader Stellar wallet ecosystem and allows partners or advanced users to connect external wallets (Freighter, Lobstr) when needed.
-Mercuryo
Mercuryo provides regulated fiat on/off-ramp infrastructure for the system.
Through this integration, drivers can convert stablecoin rewards into local currency while Mercuryo handles KYC, compliance, and fiat custody, ensuring real-world usability of rewards without requiring PathPulse to manage regulatory obligations.
- Stellar Broker
Stellar Broker is used as the liquidity routing layer for cross-asset settlement.
It connects PathPulse to existing liquidity sources such as Aquarius and other Stellar AMMs, allowing the system to route asset conversions efficiently without implementing custom liquidity or market-making infrastructure.
This is critical for multi-currency settlement when government partners pay in local currencies that need conversion to USDC before distribution.
- Privy
Privy serves as the primary wallet infrastructure for drivers, appropriate for a Web2-heavy, mobile-first user base.
Drivers onboard via email/OAuth and receive an embedded Stellar wallet without needing to understand blockchain concepts.
Stellar Wallets Kit remains available as a secondary interoperability layer for partners and advanced users.
On-Chain Driver Reputation
Driver quality tiers are represented as non-transferable Stellar Classic Assets (SCOUT1, SCOUT2, SCOUT3) issued by PathPulse with AUTH_REQUIRED and AUTH_REVOCABLE flags.
These badges are visible in any Stellar wallet (Lobstr, Beans, Freighter), queryable via Horizon, and serve as on-chain reward multipliers (1.0x / 1.2x / 1.5x).
Unlike opaque Manage Data entries, Classic Assets are composable — other Stellar protocols can verify a driver's tier and build on it.
Revenue Model
PathPulse operates a B2G (Business-to-Government) model.
Municipal partners and government agencies pay PathPulse for validated road intelligence data through service agreements.
Incoming revenue is converted to USDC via anchor infrastructure and deposited into a multi-signature Protocol Treasury on Stellar.
The settlement engine then executes deterministic 50/30/20 splits using native Stellar multi-operation transactions:
50% to the institutional partner (enforcement revenue share)
30% to the Driver Pool (distributed via SDP weighted by contributions and reputation tier)
20% to PathPulse operations
Ecosystem Impact
Together, these integrations establish a scalable settlement layer that distributes revenues transparently while generating activity across the Stellar ecosystem through:
Payouts
Wallet connectivity
Liquidity routing
Fiat off-ramps
Stellar POC / Mini MVP
We will provide a simple front-end demo on Stellar where reviewers can connect a wallet through Stellar Wallets Kit, view a live settlement flow, and test a basic reward or payout interaction on testnet.
The goal is to make the PathPulse settlement layer tangible, testable, and easy to evaluate.
