By BIM Exchange
BIM Exchange is a live multi-chain DeFi execution and yield optimization platform that operates as an aggregator of aggregators: it connects multiple liquidity sources through a unified execution layer and selects the most efficient available route for each transaction.
BIM Exchange has already developed and deployed core Stellar infrastructure including Stellar wallet connectivity via Stellar Wallets Kit, native swap execution via Soroswap, cross-chain routing into Stellar, yield strategies via DeFindex, and on-chain analytics. This infrastructure is live and has generated measurable swap volume on Stellar.
This submission focuses on expanding BIM Exchange into a multi-source Stellar execution layer through four new integrations from the Stellar ecosystem and a best-execution routing engine that connects them.
1. Privy, Embedded Wallet Onboarding
BIM Exchange will integrate Privy to provide an alternative onboarding path for users who do not already have a Stellar wallet. Users will be able to enter BIM Exchange through email or social login and receive an embedded Stellar wallet, removing the requirement to install a browser extension or manage recovery phrases. Both onboarding paths (Stellar Wallets Kit for crypto-native users and Privy for new users) will converge on the same execution infrastructure through a unified wallet abstraction layer.
2. Aquarius, Additional Stellar-Native Liquidity
Aquarius will be integrated as an additional Stellar-native liquidity and routing source alongside the existing Soroswap integration. When a user requests a swap, BIM Exchange will query both Soroswap and Aquarius, compare their execution conditions, and route through whichever provides the best eligible execution. This reduces dependency on a single DEX and increases the liquidity universe accessible to users through BIM Exchange.
3. SushiSwap, Concentrated Liquidity Markets
SushiSwap adds another independent liquidity venue to the routing architecture. Its concentrated liquidity model allows capital to be allocated within specific price ranges, improving capital efficiency for selected pairs. SushiSwap will be connected through the same adapter architecture, allowing BIM Exchange to compare routes across Soroswap, Aquarius, and SushiSwap simultaneously.
4. MoneyGram Ramps, Cash-to-Stellar Access
MoneyGram integration will create a direct path between physical cash and Stellar USDC. Users will be able to deposit cash at MoneyGram locations, receive USDC on Stellar, and immediately use it within BIM Exchange for swaps and DeFi activity. The reverse flow (USDC to cash withdrawal) will also be supported. This opens Stellar DeFi access to users who do not have a centralized exchange account or bank transfer capability.
5. BIM Best Execution Engine
The central development of this phase is the routing engine that connects all liquidity sources. When a user requests a swap, BIM Exchange will query all eligible adapters in parallel, normalize their responses into a common quote format (expected output, fees, price impact, slippage, route complexity), simulate the selected transaction, and present the best executable route for user signature. The engine includes fallback routing so that if one source becomes unavailable, execution continues through remaining sources.
Together, these integrations transform BIM Exchange from a platform connected to individual Stellar protocols into a multi-source liquidity aggregation layer where users can access the broadest available Stellar liquidity through a single interface, regardless of whether they enter via an existing Stellar wallet, an embedded wallet, a cross-chain bridge, or a MoneyGram cash deposit.

Description:
Integration of Aquarius as an additional Stellar-native liquidity and routing source within BIM Exchange. A dedicated adapter will expose Aquarius liquidity through a standardized interface, enabling BIM Exchange to query Aquarius pools and path-finding alongside Soroswap. The adapter will support multi-hop routing through Aquarius pools.
How to measure completion:
Aquarius adapter operational and returning quotes for supported trading pairs. Multi-hop routing through Aquarius pools functional. Successful swap transactions executed through the Aquarius adapter on Stellar. Aquarius available as an independent execution source within the BIM routing layer.
Estimated date of completion: 4 weeks after grant approval
Budget: $6,600
Description:
Development of the quote normalization layer that converts responses from different Stellar liquidity protocols into a common format. Each adapter response (Soroswap, Aquarius) will be standardized into a unified quote structure containing expected output, minimum output, fees, price impact, slippage, route complexity, and quote validity. This layer is the foundation for multi-source comparison and best-execution routing.
How to measure completion:
Normalization layer producing consistent, comparable quotes from Soroswap and Aquarius under equivalent conditions. Dual-source quote comparison functional for supported trading pairs. Normalized quotes displayed in the frontend with execution source identification. Route selection between Soroswap and Aquarius verified end-to-end on Stellar.
Estimated date of completion: 5 weeks after grant approval
Budget: $4,800
Description:
Integration of SushiSwap as a third Stellar liquidity venue. A dedicated adapter will connect SushiSwap concentrated liquidity pools to BIM Exchange through the same standardized interface used for Soroswap and Aquarius. SushiSwap quotes will be normalized and made available to the routing engine for cross-protocol comparison.
How to measure completion:
SushiSwap adapter operational and returning normalized quotes for supported pairs. Concentrated liquidity positions accessible through the adapter. Successful swap transactions executed through SushiSwap on Stellar. SushiSwap quotes available alongside Soroswap and Aquarius in the routing layer.
Estimated date of completion: 7 weeks after grant approval
Budget: $6,600
Description:
Development of the multi-source best-execution engine that queries Soroswap, Aquarius, and SushiSwap in parallel, compares normalized quotes, simulates the selected transaction before user signature, and selects the most efficient executable route. The engine includes fallback routing: if a selected route fails simulation or a liquidity source becomes unavailable, the engine automatically proposes the next valid route without blocking execution.
How to measure completion:
Parallel quote discovery operational across all three integrated liquidity sources. Transaction simulation executed before user signature for the selected route. Fallback routing functional when a liquidity source is unavailable or a simulation fails. Best route selection verified end-to-end on Stellar across all integrated protocols.
Estimated date of completion: 9 weeks after grant approval
Budget: $9,000
Description:
Deployment of the production frontend for multi-source execution. The interface will display the selected route, execution source, expected output, estimated fees, price impact, and slippage for each swap. Users will see which Stellar protocol provides their execution without needing to manually compare protocols. The interface will remain consistent with the existing BIM Exchange design system.
How to measure completion:
Multi-source routing interface accessible in production. Route details (source protocol, expected output, fees, price impact) visible to users before transaction signature. Complete swap flow operational from quote request through execution and confirmation. Execution source clearly identified in the transaction confirmation.
Estimated date of completion: 10 weeks after grant approval
Budget: $6,000
