By VANK Anchor: USDC-COP On/Off Ramp for the Stellar Ecosystem
VANK Anchor adds two Stellar-native services to the ecosystem:
Service 1: On-Ramp COP to USDC. Ecosystem wallets and fintechs connect their users to VANK's Colombia collection infrastructure. Users deposit COP via PSE. VANK confirms fiat receipt, converts COP to USDC, and sends USDC on Stellar to the partner's Stellar account. Stellar is used as the USDC settlement and delivery network. Impact: opens Colombia as a compliant fiat-to-USDC corridor for Stellar wallets and fintechs.
Service 2: Off-Ramp USDC to COP. Partners send USDC on Stellar to VANK's Stellar account. VANK captures beneficiary banking details through the hosted or API flow, screens the beneficiary against restricted party lists including OFAC, UN, PEPs, local Colombian lists, and adverse media, converts USDC to COP, and disburses COP through ACH/bank transfer rails in Colombia. Stellar is used as the USDC reception and auditability layer. Impact: enables Stellar ecosystem partners to convert USDC into Colombian pesos through VANK's existing fiat infrastructure.
Technical integration: VANK will deploy SDF's Anchor Platform as the core integration layer. The implementation will include SEP-1 for service discovery via stellar.toml, SEP-10 for partner wallet authentication, SEP-24 for hosted deposit and withdrawal, SEP-38 for transparent COP/USDC quotes, rates, spreads, fees, and quote expiration, and SEP-6 compatibility for partners requiring API-based deposit/withdrawal flows.
The Stellar SDK will be integrated into VANK's backend for Stellar account management, USDC trustlines, transaction building, signing, and submission. Horizon API will support on-chain monitoring and treasury reconciliation, including real-time capture of USDC movements and discrepancy alerts.
B2B model: Anchor clients are companies such as wallets and fintechs, not direct retail end users. Each partner completes corporate KYB with VANK. Partners are responsible for their own end-user KYC where applicable. VANK applies transaction-level compliance screening to every off-ramp beneficiary before COP disbursement.

VANK operates as a multicurrency B2B payments platform for international trade between the US and Latin America.
In 2025, based on company records and payment operations reports, VANK processed over $116 million in total payment volume across 40 active corporate clients, generating approximately $1.68 million in revenue. VANK has also processed over 50,000 transactions with approximately 70% recurring client activity.
To support these claims, VANK has added verifiable traction materials to this submission, including a redacted VANK transaction report, management attestation, and supporting financial/revenue documentation. Sensitive client, beneficiary, account, and transaction-level information has been redacted.
Operational fiat infrastructure:
Colombia: PSE active for collections, ACH/bank transfer rails active for disbursements, Kamin as payment processor, Coink as digital wallet, and Bre-B integration in certification phase.
United States: virtual accounts, pay-in and payout in USD through ACT, Portage, Zenus, and Cross River.
SWIFT capability for international payments. Erabor integration in progress.
Europe: virtual accounts and operations through ClearBank and Barclays.
Bolivia: pay-in and payout through local infrastructure partners.
VANK operates active KYC/KYB through InCode and transaction-level compliance screening through Compliance Risk. Every off-ramp beneficiary is screened against restricted party lists including OFAC, UN, PEPs, local Colombian lists, and adverse media before COP disbursement.
All fiat infrastructure required to operate as a Stellar Anchor in Colombia is already built and in production. SCF funding will be used only for the new Stellar-native integration layer: Anchor Platform, SEP support, Stellar SDK, Horizon-based reconciliation, production custody, monitoring, QA, documentation, and mainnet launch.
