BIM Exchange is a live multi-chain DeFi execution and yield optimization platform operating across EVM-compatible networks, with cross-chain routing infrastructure already in production.
This submission focuses on integrating Stellar into BIM Exchange’s existing architecture through three core Stellar-native components:
1. Stellar Wallet Integration (Stellar Wallet Kits)
BIM Exchange integrates Stellar Wallet Kits to enable users to connect Soroban-compatible Stellar wallets and interact directly with Stellar smart contracts through the BIM interface. This ensures seamless wallet connectivity, transaction signing, and asset visibility within the Stellar ecosystem.
2. Native Swap Integration (Soroswap)
BIM Exchange integrates Soroswap smart contracts deployed on Soroban to enable native asset swaps on Stellar. Stellar liquidity is incorporated into BIM’s routing engine, allowing users to execute swaps within the Stellar ecosystem using the same execution flow available across other supported networks.
This integration expands exposure of Stellar-native liquidity to BIM’s existing multi-chain user base and drives measurable swap volume on Stellar.
3. Stellar Staking & Yield Integration (Defindex)
Through integration with Defindex, BIM Exchange enables staking and yield participation on Stellar via Soroban smart contracts. Users can stake and unstake Stellar-native assets directly from the BIM Exchange interface, with rewards accrued transparently on-chain.
This extends BIM’s existing yield optimization framework to Stellar-native assets and supports liquidity retention within the Stellar ecosystem.
Ecosystem Impact
The integration will:
Increase exposure of Stellar-native liquidity to multi-chain users
Generate measurable swap volume on Stellar
Enable staking participation and yield activity on Stellar
Provide fully verifiable on-chain metrics tied to real usage
All Stellar-related activity remains transparent and independently measurable on-chain.
Strategic Alignment with Stellar
The integration is designed to position Stellar as a liquidity destination rather than a transient routing layer. By combining native swaps and staking via Soroban smart contracts, BIM Exchange encourages sustained capital deployment within the Stellar ecosystem, increasing measurable TVL and long-term on-chain activity.
Bridged assets are intended to be actively deployed into Stellar-native swap and staking strategies rather than routed out of the ecosystem, reinforcing Stellar’s role as an execution and yield environment within BIM’s broader infrastructure.

Estimated date of completion: 4 weeks after grant approval
Budget: 31,400 USD
Description:
Integration of a cross-chain bridge provider enabling asset transfers from supported EVM networks into the Stellar ecosystem through BIM Exchange’s orchestration layer. The implementation includes routing logic, transaction lifecycle tracking, and settlement verification to ensure reliable EVM → Stellar transfers.
Once settled on Stellar, bridged assets can be immediately deployed within BIM Exchange for Stellar-native swaps (via Soroswap) and staking (via Defindex).
How to measure completion:
Integration of a bridge provider enabling EVM → Stellar transfers
Successful end-to-end bridge execution from at least one supported EVM network (testnet → mainnet)
Bridge transaction lifecycle observable (submission, confirmation, settlement)
Bridged assets successfully received on Stellar and visible in user wallet
Bridged assets usable in Stellar-native swap functionality
Estimated date of completion: 7 weeks after grant approval
Deliverable 5: Cross-Chain Frontend Integration
Budget: 11,300 USD
